This 12″x12″ Emergency Location Marker (ELM) Information Sign is a high quality, industry standard, .063” thick aluminum sign covered with engineer grade reflective laminate that is protected with an anti-graffiti coating. This sign is placed at trailheads and other places where information about how to use the ELM system on the associated trail would be of value to trail users.
The sign is durable in all weather conditions, and dependent on manufacturer, comes with either a seven (7) or ten (10) year warranty against defects or delamination. It is installation-ready for standard galvanized posts with 1-inch hole spacing, using ⅜” diameter bolts (not included). Similarly, it can be easily installed on wooden posts using 3/8″ diameter lag bolts.
Available in two different versions. This version displays only the explanation for use of the standard ELM. Version 2 provides that same information plus information for the vertical ELM. For readability purposes, engineer grade is the only recommended laminate.
